A vehicle was damaged after it crashed into boulders lining the Erie Canal in Macedon.
The incident was discovered Sunday morning. However, Macedon Police aren’t sure how – or when – the vehicle wound up at the end of Alderman Road where it meets the waterway.
Boulders are in place there to prevent vehicle access to the Erie Canal. The car, which had damage to its front end, was towed from the embankment around 11:30 a.m.
According to police at the scene, a male driver suffered minor injuries.
