Police responded to a bomb threat at an area bank Thursday morning, according to an official update from the Ithaca Police Department.
Around 8:25 a.m. officers responded to Tompkins Financial after a bomb threat was received.
The building was searched and no suspicious devices were located. Police say there isn’t any risk to the public, and additional information is unavailable at this time.
The investigation remains active, according to police.
The Ithaca Police Department was assisted by Cornell University Police and the FBI.
