Police report the arrest of a 16-year-old female following a traffic stop on Ovid Street during the early-morning hours on Sunday.
Around 3:31 a.m. the teen was stopped after her vehicle crossed the center line twice while traveling northbound. That’s when police say they initiated a traffic stop.
Upon investigation it was determined that the 16-year-old operator was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. She was also found to have a class DJ license – which prohibits operation at that time.
The driver was charged with two counts of failure to keep right, operating out of class, driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by drugs, and driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol.
She is due in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
