One Auburn Doubledays assistant general manager has left his position and the other is on his way out.
Andy Collier left the organization to become the program director at Champions For Life two weeks ago, while Shane Truman is leaving next week to become the homeless coordinator for Cayuga County.
Both Collier and Truman said it wasn’t planned to leave around the same time, but the decision came down to spending more time with their families.
“We had talked about stuff and we were happy with what we were doing at the ballpark, but the opportunities came along and they were too good to pass up,” Collier said.
Doubledays general manager Adam Winslow could not be reached for comment Friday evening.
Truman and Collier were both hired as assistant general managers in February 2017 after previously serving in other roles around Falcon Park over the past couple decades.
