Ontario County Sheriff Kevin Henderson says a 37-year-old Naples resident was arrested following an investigation into a physical altercation, which occurred on January 22nd.
Henderson reports that Justin P. Smith, 37, of Naples engaged in physical contact with a child victim, which included forcibly grabbing, shoving, and throwing a laundry basket.
There were multiple children present, according to Sheriff Henderson, who reports that one of them was struck by the laundry basket after it was thrown.
Henderson also says that Smith forcibly pushed his fist into the face of the victim, and punched multiple holes in walls within the residence.
Investigators said the children feared for their safety. He was arraigned and an order of protection was issued on behalf of the victims.
