The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Trumansburg man on welfare fraud charges following an investigation.
Deputies arrested Erik M. Suess, 47, of Trumansburg after he failed to disclose income to proper authorities while receiving public benefits.
As result he was charged with fifth-degree welfare fraud and misuse of food stamps.
He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges at a later date.
