Five people were arrested in connection with a methamphetamine manufacturing investigation in Freeville, according to New York State Police.
Police say on Sunday, Jan. 27, while troopers stationed in Ithaca were following up on a previous meth manufacturing investigation, police found "materials and the remnants of materials used to manufacture methamphetamine" at 35 Bills Way, Congers Mobile Home Park, in Freeville.
With a search warrant issued by the Town of Dryden Court, members of the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team, New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and members of Troop C BCI searched the residence and seized "hazardous materials used to manufacture methamphetamine" along with 300 grams of marijuana, police said.
