Fairport’s 11-game unbeaten streak was snapped by the Greece Storm on Jan. 18, but that wasn’t enough to knock the Red Raiders from the No. 1 spot in the Democrat and Chronicle’s Section V hockey coaches’ poll.
Fairport (10-2-3) rebounded nicely from its overtime loss with a 5-1 win over Baldwinsville Thursday. Five different Red Raiders scored including Hunter McDonald and Cory Foster.
McDonald is second on team in points with nine goals and eight assists. Nick Krug is the team’s leading point scorer with seven goals and 12 assists.
