Man involved in Dryden armed home invasion sentenced

One of the men involved in a home invasion in Dryden in April 2018 was sentenced to two years in prison this week.

In June, Henry J. Moreno, 29, and Kevin P. Chambliss, 32, both of Lansing, were indicted on several felony charges including four counts of first-degree burglary, second-degree strangulation, first-degree kidnapping and second-degree criminal possession of a loaded firearm. Additionally, Chambliss was charged with first-degree criminal sexual act.

On Wednesday, Moreno was sentenced by Judge Joseph Cassidy to two years in prison with two years of post-release supervision after pleading guilty to second-degree attempted criminal possession of a loaded firearm, a felony.
