Hosmer Winery announced that many of our wines have received delightful Wine Enthusiast, Wine & Spirits & James Suckling scores.
In the February 2019 edition of Wine & Spirits Magazine, you will find one of Hosmer Winery’s wines mentioned in the US New Releases section. Hosmer’s 2017 Late Pick Riesling received 94 points, being described as “modestly sweet, and yet the prevailing impression is one of energy and movement”. The wine consists of “all but the best fruit, which is left to hang and accumulate botrytis”. It is the top rated New York white in the section.
In addition, Hosmer Winery also received Wine Enthusiast scores for the following wines:
2017 Patrician Verona Riesling – 92 points
2017 Dry Riesling – 89 points
2017 Sauvignon Blanc – 88 points
Lastly, American wine critic James Suckling has rated many of Hosmer’s new 2017 vintages:
2017 Patrician Verona Riesling – 92 points
2017 Cabernet Franc – 91 points
2017 Dry Riesling – 90 points
2017 Riesling – 90 points
Hosmer Winery is very pleased with these scores, and we eagerly anticipate many other 2017 vintages being reviewed.
