Three September home games and a pair of nationally-televised weeknight games in October highlight Syracuse’s 2019 football schedule, which was released Wednesday by the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The balanced slate features six home dates at the Carrier Dome, where the Orange were unbeaten (6-0) in 2018, and six road games.
As previously announced, the Orange begin their 130th gridiron campaign with consecutive true road games for the first time since 2010. Syracuse opens the year on Aug. 31 at Liberty in the first meeting between the programs. The following week, the Orange rekindle their rivalry with Maryland (Sept. 7). The Orange and Terps have played 36 times previously, most recently in 2014 at the Dome. Syracuse owns a 19-15-2 advantage in the all-time series.
