Deputies say a Rochester man was arrested on contempt charges after violating an order of protection on Wednesday.
Deputies say Charles R. Ohl, 36, of Rochester was charged with first-degree criminal contempt – a felony – after violating a protective order.
Deputies said it was elevated to first-degree criminal contempt due to a previous conviction of criminal contempt in the last five years.
He was held at the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment and the charges will be answered at a later date.
