The Victor Central School District says an alleged threat reported by students Wednesday has been deemed to be unfounded.
In a statement, the district says it was notified by students of the alleged threat Wednesday morning. The school district and a school resource officer investigated and found the alleged threat was not credible.
“VCS takes the safety and security of students and staff very seriously and is grateful for students and staff for being proactive when they see or hear anything suspicious,” the district said in a statement released Wednesday afternoon. “A see something, say something culture is critical to keeping everyone safe.”
