Fire officials in Auburn are saying that one person died in a fire on Pulsifer Drive, during the morning hours on Tuesday.
Auburn Fire Department personnel responded to a heavily involved fire at 47 Pulsifer Drive at approximately 12:45 a.m., according to Assistant Chief Ed Sherman, who spoke with the Auburn Citizen.

Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control. However, it took an hour-and-a-half to do so. A search of the residence determined that one person was unable to exit the home.
The identity of the victim is not being released at this time. The fire remains under investigation.
