Deputies say that on Thursday at approximately 12:30 p.m. investigators arrested two men related to an incident at the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
According to investigators, Kyle G. Clawson, and Steven J. Kirby, both 41, were charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies say that Kirby was also charged with felony tampering with physical evidence.
They say the charges stem from an incident that occurred within the jail two days earlier. During that incident, Clawson and Kirby confronted other inmates and caused damage to a speaker inside a housing unit.
The damage was then concealed from officers, resulting in the tampering charge.
Both were arraigned and sent back to the jail.
