Police say an Auburn man was arrested on felony charges, which stemmed from a car accident on December 17th on Lake Avenue.
Sam P. Mallory, 40, of Auburn was charged Thursday with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony, and second-degree menacing, a class A misdemeanor.
Police say that on December 17th around 1:38 p.m. Mallory was involved in a car accident on Lake Avenue. Another vehicle was involved, but no injuries were reported.
Error, group does not exist! Check your syntax! (ID: 28)After the accident Mallory got into an argument with the driver of the other vehicle. At that point, police say he brandished an aluminum bat.
While he did not attack, a bystander called in the incident. A warrant was ultimately issued for his arrest on December 24th.
