Police say a 26-year-old Penn Yan man was arrested on Wednesday morning after an overnight domestic incident.
David J. Zimmerman, of Penn Yan was charged with criminal mischief and harassment after a physical confrontation with a female victim.
During that incident he urinated on the woman, and pulled her by the hair. Police say Zimmerman then damaged several electronic items, which belonged to the victim.
He was charged with felony criminal mischief, and criminal mischief and harassment – two violations – after investigation. He was also charged with felony aggravated family offense due to having a past conviction from another domestic incident.
The charges will be answered at a later date, but Zimmerman was being held at the Yates County Jail.
