Deputies say a 48-year-old Interlaken resident was arrested on two counts of felony grand larceny on June 28th after an investigation into two vehicle thefts in the Town of Covert.
Anthony M. Brown, 48, was charged with two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny after allegedly stealing two vehicles in non-working order from a Town of Covert resident.
Deputies say he then scrapped the vehicles at a local junkyard for cash.
The incident occurred in mid-May, but was arrested in late-June as the investigation concluded.
Brown was issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges in August.
