Tioga got its offense going just in time Wednesday, with three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning rallying the Tigers to a 4-3 victory over Trumansburg in the Interscholastic Athletic Conference Small School baseball final at Tompkins Cortland Community College in Dryden.
Mitch Taylor delivered the final blow, capping the comeback with a sacrifice fly to right field that scored Thomas Cook with the winning run from third base.
Before the seventh, Trumansburg right-hander Jake Shelley had limited the Tigers (18-2) to one run on four hits through the first six innings. He also had a two-run double during the Blue Raiders’ three-run third inning.
