First responders were called to 71 Ovid Street for the report of a structure fire Monday afternoon.
The call came in around 2 p.m. and prompted response from Seneca Falls, Waterloo, Fayette, and Geneva fire departments.
Scanner traffic indicates that the home is the one located on the corner of Chapin and Ovid streets. Ovid Street was shut down around 2:05 p.m., according to first responders.
Among the first crews on-scene confirmed smoke coming from the eves of the home. North Seneca Ambulance was requested to the scene, as well.
While the home was reportedly insured, the property was uninhabitable.
