Police: Traffic stop leads to DWI charge for Sodus Point man

A Sodus Point man faces DWI charges after a traffic stop that happened on Mud Lane in the Town of Sodus on February 8th.

State Police say Frank W. Grosz, 32, was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than 0.08 percent, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to keep to the right.



Grosz was stopped on Mud Lane in the Town of Sodus for failing to keep right. He was placed under arrest after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests.

He provided a breath sample of 0.17 percent at SP Wolcott, according to police.

The charges will be answered in Sodus Town Court.
