The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying an individual who robbed a Lansing bank at gunpoint.
Deputies were called to the Cornell Federal Credit Union on Sheraton Drive in Lansing a little after 4:30 pm. It was moment after the frightening incident unfolded.
On Thursday, authorities released the video of the incident, which shows a man displaying a gun — and demanding money from the clerk.
According to investigators, the suspect was last seen running northeast on Sheraton Drive. The Sheriff’s Office describes the suspect as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, as well as a black face mask.
