PLANNING YOUR WEEK: Forecast looks calmer with warming trend by end in FLX

The forecast looks much calmer after one of the largest storms of the winter season.

The storm dumped between 8 and 16 inches of snow on most of the region. While some places saw more, most of the Finger Lakes fell in that range, according to information from the National Weather Service.

While it will be cold this week, excessive snows like the Finger Lakes received between Friday night and Saturday are not expected. The National Weather Service notes a slight warming trend, that could put temperatures back into the ‘above’ normal range by next weekend.
