OUR FINGER LAKES HISTORY: Sampson Naval Training Station during WWII (podcast)

On Monday afternoon’sĀ edition of Our Finger Lakes History on FingerLakes1.TV, Seneca County Historian Walter Gable presents the complete history of the Sampson Naval Training Station during World War II which was located on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake where Sampson State Park is today and covered 2,535 acres. 411,429 naval recruits were trained there during the 3.5 years of operation.
