Watkins Glen DEC Hearing on LPG Storage 9/27/2011
On Thursday Sept 27 2011, the DEC held a public hearing on a proposed major expansion of an Liquid Propane Gas (LPG) storage facility at the former U.S. Salt facility in Watkins Glen, now owned by Inergy Midstream of Kansas City, Mo. Nearly 1,000 people packed the Watkins Glen HS auditorium to make their voices heard. Comments will be received by the DEC until 10/10/11.
