13WHAM-TV reports on a student-sponsored fund raiser for Hannah's Hope held at Rochester Institute of Technology's Ritter Arena.
Anchor: Three years after her death, a Fairport teen is being remembered and her dream being carried on. Skate for a Cause was held tonight to raise money for Hannah's Hope, a school in Kenya. Hannah's Hope is named after Hannah Condan. She died after a car crash along with 4 friends days after high school graduation. Hannah dreamed of being a teacher in a third world country.
Jennifer Bell: One girl's dream to benefit the world, our dream to make a little bit of a difference, I think that we're so proud of what she and her name has accomplished, and I think she would be proud of us knowing that we're donating.
Anchor: And proceeds from tonight's event will go to the school in Kenya. RIT's Women in Business club hopes to travel to Kenya to help the school.
