The men's and women's hockey teams at Rochester Institute of Technology are working with Zeta Tau Alpha sorority to help cure cancer. The teams plan on auctioning off their game-worn pink jerseys to help raise money for Rochester General Hospital's Lipson Cancer Center.
Jerseys will be auctioned off online starting at noon on Jan. 27 and ending at 5 p.m. on Jan. 31. Both teams will wear their pink jerseys during contests scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 30.
In addition, RIT's Zeta Tau Alpha sorority will be selling pink t-shirts starting Monday, Jan. 25, with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation. Date Added: January 11th, 2010
