Ithaca's 2012 Fireworks Show at Stewart Park
On July 2, Ithaca, NY brought its Independence Day fireworks show back to Ithaca, thanks to the leadership of Mayor Svante Myrick. For the first time, the moonlit show was held on city parkland with the rockets launching from Newman Golf Course and the fireworks festival taking place across Fall Creek in Stewart Park, with a pink-orange dusk illuminating Cayuga Lake. Leading up to launch time, The Destination provided a great concert for the crowd of thousands.
