Sterling Nature Center filmed March 2012 along Lake Ontario. I recommend Michael Ameigh's Footprints of the Ice Age to those of you who are interested in the amazing geology of CNY. In it he explains how the earth is shifting today and what caused our geography. In this video you'll see Ontario's east shore drumlins falling into the lake. You will see Irradics- glacial artifacts -large rocks that have travelled from far north in the Laurentide Ice Sheet. Sterling Nature Center is a treasure with it's Great Blue Heron Rookery, it's woods and shore paths. 15730 Jensvold Rd. Sterling, NY 13156 just south of Oswego www.cayuganet.org/sterlingpark See our other explorations of Sterling Nature Center on caliclips channel- subscribe and you will get notification of new videos about Central New York .Produced for public access cable TV "Clips with Jerry Cali" #106 June 2012 by Kit Parker Cali.
