Outside the News 10NBC studio there was torrential rain and even hail. It started just after 11 p.m. The heavy rain even caused some local roads to flood like on East Avenue and Culver Road which was shut down for a few hours overnight. The wind knocked down trees all across our viewing area. One came down in a driveway on Oxford Street in Rochester. The tree took out power lines as did other trees elsewhere. At one point, more than 3,000 customers didn't have electricity but that number continues to fluctuate.
