Boats, homes and the Yacht Club Cove were damaged. Trees lined the front yard of a home across the street from the Cove. Workers and homeowners continued to clean up the mess Monday from the tornado which only touched down between five and ten minutes. Held on Saturday August 15, 2009, the swim was .67 mile across Keuka Lake and there were over 100 swimmers. Keuka Comfort Care Home was built by volunteers and is staffed by volunteers, cares compassionately for the terminally ill. The home sits on a beautiful hill looking over Keuka Lake.
