" Watkins Glen Chamber Golf "
The sun was shining for the Eighth Annual Donald Brubaker Memorial Golf Tournament that was recently held by the Schuyler County Chamber of Commerce/Watkins Glen Promotions. The event turned out to be a great success with 15 teams representing many local businesses in the region.

" Shelter Lodge in Williamson "
State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio joined residents and officials from the Town of Williamson to announce that he has secured a $150,000 state grant to construct a new 2,000 square foot shelter lodge at the Williamson Town Park. Senator Nozzolio made the announcement at the opening of the Williamson Town Loop Trail. The new lodge will accommodate community gatherings of up to 100 people and open the park to year-round use.

Jenna's Wish Kickoff Campaign at the Beverly Animal Shelter in Waterloo got a boost when Senator Nozzolio stopped by on Friday and with a check for $10,000. Jenna Montroy,(pictured in front holding the black cat) a young girl who became sick with cancer, qualified for a special wish from the Make A Wish Foundation.
