" RPO Brass Quintet in SF "
Friday evening Seneca Museum hosted a concert by the RPO Brass Quintet, made possible by a grant from the NYS Council of the Arts and Finger Lakes Arts Grants & Services. This 5 man group, consisting of principal brass players from the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, entertained 60 guests at the museum. " Parsons Home Demolished "

" WXXI & Sampson Veterans' Cemetery "
Senator Mike Nozzolio recently toured the proposed site of the Sampson Veterans' Memorial cemetery at Sampson State Park in Seneca County. Senator Nozzolio was asked about his efforts to establish the veterans' cemetery at the site of the former Naval and Air Force base. Senator Nozzolio's tour of the proposed Sampson Veterans' Memorial Cemetery will be broadcast in conjunction with Ken Burns' newest documentary, "The War", being shown on WXXI. " Save Our Sodus "
Senator Mike Nozzolio recently presented $25,000 in New York State funding to the Save Our Sodus organization as he renewed his commitment to assist in efforts to preserve, protect and improve the water quality in the Sodus Bay watershed. She's dodging traffic, but not questions from residents in the 54th Senate District. Democrat Paloma Capanna, a divorce attorney from Webster, New York, is walking over 150 miles this week drawing attention to her plans to challlenge incumbent Republican State Senator Michael Nozzolio of Seneca Falls in the 2008 election. " A Day of Fun, A Lifetime of Hope "
Seneca Falls Rotarians hosted the first annual Rotary Wine & Music Festival at Goose Watch winery on Cayuga Lake on Sunday, September 9th. Funds raised will be used to support Clean Water projects in Malawi and Honduras in addition to local projects of the Seneca Falls Rotary Club. In Malawi, the Seneca Falls Rotary Club is sponsoring a program called "Village to Village" which underwrites programs that bring clean water into villages, takes dirty water out, and supplies water for crop irrigations.

The Great Chicken Wing hunters ate 1,651 wings, 284 types of wings, from 63 cooks and restaurants in 15 days on road. They picked 1 wing as the best-Marshall Grady's "Blue Bayou" wings! Sunday night -Lyons native Matt Reynolds and his film crew and cast of wing hunters returned to Abigail's Restaurant in Seneca Falls to crown Chef Marshall Grady with the title "World's Best Buffalo Wing".
