" New Sign For Memorial Day Museum "
Director of Museums for the Waterloo Library and Historical Society Jim Hughes, and President of the Board of Trustees, Lynn Patti unveil the new National Memorial Day Museum sign. The museum's name has been changed and the museum has undergone inside renovations. The new look of the museum will be shown to members of the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce on May 16th during a chamber after hours gathering. The museum will then open to the public. " Midlakes' Latest Graduate "
Assemblyman Brian Kolb (right) recently presented Frederick H. Breimann of Clifton Springs with his high school diploma from Midlakes High School. Called to active duty on November 26, 1945, Mr. Breimann was never able to complete his education to receive his diploma. He served admirably in the U.S. Navy earning several distinguished medals including the Army of Occupation Medal and the World War II Victory Medal before returning home. Mr. Kolb and Mr. Breimann were joined by Breimann's wife Harriet and Midlakes H.S. Principal Richard Bley.
