Geneva Bantams won the Championship of The New York State Amateur Hockey Association Central Section last weekend. This qualifies them for the State Tournament that will be held in Fulton, New York this coming weekend. These players come from not only Geneva, but Waterloo, Penn Yan, Midlakes & Trumansburg. " Schumer In Geneva "
New York Senator Charles Schumer makes a point during his stop at the Cornell Ag Tech Park in Geneva Thursday morning as he unveiled a groundbreaking national education initiative to complement his drive to improve math and science education. Schumer's plan would be to offer math and science teacher stipends of between $11,000 and $20,000 on top of their salaries.
