"The Ugly's" are Pam Bryan, Lyn Barbuto, Sally Fratto, and Sue Ellen Mauer. They will preform their comedy game show "Bluff or No Bluff"at the Mamapalooza festival this Sunday at Abigail's Restaurant in Seneca Falls. The guitar Lynn is holding will be raffled off. " $15k for Freshwater in Wayne Co. "
NYS Assemblyman Robert C. Oaks has recently awarded the Wayne County Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) with a $15,000 state grant to help improve and protect Wayne County’s freshwater resources. " Geneva Student Honored In Albany "
Senator Michael Nozzolio on Tuesday named Robert Greco Jr., a student at Geneva High School, as a recipient of the NYS Senate Achievers' Award. The prestigious award recognizes an individual's ability to overcome personal physical challenges and honors their accomplishments on behalf of the community. Greco is a 17 year-old student at Geneva High School who is confined to an electric wheelchair because of the joint disease, arthrogryposis. Bobby's determination and inner strength have helped him endure years of pain and operations. Throughout it all, he has not allowed his physical disability to stop him from achieving his dream of becoming a football coach.

" 100 Hours Of Softball "
The longest game of the World Series ever played ran for five hours and 41 minutes. The members of Kappa Sigma at Hobart will do one better: 20 times better to be exact, playing softball for 100 continuous hours. The game started at noon on Friday, on Cozzens Field and participants hope to reach 100 hours by 4 p.m. on Sunday. Due to the heavy, thick snow and wet road conditions underneath a tractor trailer became stuck while stopped at the 4 Corners in Ovid. Thanks to the salting and plowing help of the Seneca County Highway Dept the truck was able to make it up the hill and continue on it's way about 45minutes after it became stuck.
