State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio announced that he has secured $425,000 in state funding to address the critical issues threatening the Owasco Lake on Thursday afternoon. Senator Nozzolio made the announcement at Emerson Park in the City of Auburn. Benjamin Jason Crane of Odessa has been named the honorary chair of The Arc of Schuyler County's Sixth Annual Golf Tournament, set for Friday Aug. 18. Last week, Seneca County 4-H’ers attended the annual 3A Trip. The annual trip is for current 4-H youth who do a public presentation during the yearly Public Presentation Day and two other 4-H activities /events from October 1 through June 1 of the current 4-H year. The trip is funded from the Seneca County 4-H Trips & Awards Fund. The splendor of Taughannock Falls in Trumansburg was viewed from the overlook as one stop on the trip.
