" 50+ Years Of Service "
Assemblyman Brian Kolb (R,C - Canandaigua) presented a citation to Port Gibson Volunteer Fire Department Chief Scott DeCook. The citation from Governor George Pataki and Assemblyman Kolb was to honor the fire departments fifty plus years of service to the community. Additionally, eight firefighters were honored for 50 plus years of service.

Starting March 28th traffic will stop in all directions at the intersection of River Road and the Connector Bridge. The State Department of Transportation Monday posted two large signs to inform motorists about the upcoming change. A DOT spokeswoman says there will be stop signs at the three-way intersection.
