" Carp Derby Champs "
Scott Shumway of Seneca Falls holds his winning fish worth $500 in the 25th Finger Lakes Carp Derby. Shumway's fish weighed 34.22 pounds. He reeled it in from Cayuga Lake with the help of Tim Dow(right), Ralph Cecce, and Nate Schumway. This fishing team took three of the top money prizes as Tim Dow was third and Scott Shumway caught the seventh biggest fish. In all the group says they caught about 35 carp and threw back the smaller ones. The Carp Derby is put on by the Grumpy Ol' Men's Club. Proceeds are donated to local charities.
