Seneca County has a new County Manager. Sharon Secor was appointed to the job Tuesday night. Secor had been Acting County Manager since Keith Ashby resigned last December. Secor has worked for Seneca County since 1968 serving most of the time as the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.

" Big Top in Skaneateles "
Elephants entertain under the Big Top ring at the Kelly Miller Circus Monday night in Skaneateles. Approximately 400 people attended the 7:30 show at Austin Park near the old hockey arena. Assemblyman Brian Kolb welcomes Jean Davidson to Geneva for the NY State Harley Owners Group Rally. Jean is the granddaughter of Walter Davidson one of the motorcycle company founders. Saturday night is the parade of bikes from downtown Geneva, east on Routes 5&20 to the Water-Falls Bridge at the intersection of Rt.414 and 5&20 in Seneca Falls. The bikes then travel back to Geneva on River Road. Upwards of a thousand motorcycles are expected to participate. Fireworks at the Geneva lakefront wrap up the rally following the parade. The bright yellow bird is the male of the species, and the green color bird is the female. Gold finches are with us all year long, but the males turn green like the females during the winter.
