" Three Bears Courthouse "
Senator Mike Nozzolio was recognized recently for his role in securing $25,000 in State funding for the restoration of the Three Bears Historic Courthouse in Ovid. Senator Nozzolio was presented with the first set of special edition wines produced by Knapp Vineyards and named for the Papa, Mama, and Baby Bear buildings. " Walk-A-Thon at Pyramid Mall "
The Fingerlakes District of NY Rainbow held a walk-a-thon at the Pyramid Mall on Veteran's Day to raise money for our statewide charity project: Camp Good Days and Special Times (campgooddays.org) a camp for children and adults held at Keuka Lake for people facing challenges such as AIDS, cancer, and violence.

" Filmmakers in Seneca Falls "
Filmmakers Ken Burns and Paul Barnes were honored Monday by about 200 Seneca Falls residents gathered inside the new Mynderse Library. The men who made the 1999 PBS Documentary about Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony will soon be honored in a new park across the street from the library. The park will be called “Suffrage Park” and will feature streets called Paul Barnes Landing and Ken Burns Place.
