" Free Mulch for Seneca Co. "
Hundreds of Seneca County residents lined up early Saturday morning at the Seneca Meadows Landfill for truck loads of free mulch. Workers Friday set up thousands of chairs, the stage and sound system in preparation for the Hobart and William Smith Colleges 2004 Commencement. MSNBCís Chris Matthews is the commencement speaker. Commencement 2004 will begin at 10:30 a.m. on the Hobart Quadrangle (rain location Bristol Field House). " Baby Falcons at Kodak "
Kodakís Peregrine Falcons became proud parents yesterday when three baby birds hatched high atop the Kodak tower in Rochester, NY as thousands of people watch online from around the world. Kodak has four cameras set up outside the 210 foot high nest. The Peregrine Falcon is still listed as an endangered and threatened species in New York. " Nozzolio secures grant for Lyons Center "
New York State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio recently presented a $150,000 State grant he secured to the Lyons Community Center. The funding will be used to complete the interior of the facility, which will enable public use of the center late this fall. The announcement was made a groundbreaking ceremony for the new building, located behind the Lyons High School.

Gas prices spiked to $2.05.9 on Sunday at three Geneva Gas stations- Fastrac, Sunoco, and Kwik Fill on Hamilton Street.
