" Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science at Crouse Hinds Theater in Syracuse "
Alton makes an adjustment to his monstrous hot air popper, the Astro Pop, with the help of audience member, Dave the Chemistry Teacher, in the helmet and "fire-proof suit," bottom right. The food science star sang while dressed like the band, Devo. He sprayed the audience with crickets, packing peanuts and popcorn. He also tortured a woman with her very unfortunate turn at "Spin Your Poison" to determine what type of alcoholic beverage she would get. It was Bourbon, Jagermeister and Fruit Punch. Luckily for her liquid nitrogen can make even that combination better.
