A statue of the baby Jesus is back where it's supposed to be this Christmas, in John and Joan Leising's yard in North Buffalo. The statue was taken from the Leising's lighted manger two days before last Christmas. The Buffalo News first broke the story earlier this week and it has since gained national attention from CNN and created a huge buzz on the Internet. On Wednesday, FingerLakes1.com learned that at least two of the people involved with the holiday hoax are actually Hobart Williams-Smith Colleges students in Geneva, NY. FingerLakes1.com discovered photos from the statue's 8-month tour of New York State on Facebook.com pages created by the two female William-Smith students.
