Corning Reports Strong Earnings (sound)

Corning, Incorporated has reported first quarter earnings that beat Wall Street expectations. Earnings were 64 cents per share before special items, more than triple earnings in the first quarter of last year. Finger Lakes News Radio financial correspondent David DeCourcey says the earnings were driven by demand for flat screen TVs.
