September Finger Lakes Sky on Monday, September 19, 2011 @ 12:30 am Photo by Matt Scaglione This photo was taken Sunday night/Monday morning at about 12:30am. The location where the photo was taken is the Town of Seneca Falls on King Rd. The subject of the photo is the night sky seen over a pole barn. The photo was taken with a 30 second exposure needed to pick up the detail of the stars in the sky. A side effect of such a long exposure is how the moonlight almost makes the foreground appear as if it were daytime or dusk. |
