Hope Robinson Guest Speaker
On Thursday, October 23 Care Net Pregnancy Care Center of The Finger Lakes (CNPCC) will hold their annual fundraising dinner at Club 86. The evening’s guest speaker will be the original director of Care Net, Hope Robinson, who directed the center for eleven years. Hope and her husband, Pastor Len Robinson, have served several churches as well as spent time in Spain as missionaries. Doreen Teed, Interim Director of CNPCC, explains, “The Robinsons have decided to take a new path. Presently they go to a church where there is not a minister, hold reconciliation sessions, rebuild the church, help with hiring a pastor, then move on to the next church that needs help.” The Silent Auction and registration will begin at 6:15 p.m. with dinner and program beginning at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person, which includes a three course meal with dessert. Groups can purchase a table for $200 with seating for eight. This year’s theme is “Together for Life”. Silent Auction gifts will gratefully be accepted. Checks to reserve seating can be mailed to CNPCC, PO Box 733, Geneva NY 14456. For more information and/or reservations, contact Teed at 315-789-0708.
