Wine and Cupcake Pairing
Eat your cake and drink Wine too-Fundraiser MACEDON, NY — JD Wine Cellars and the First Baptist Church of Macedon are pairing up to provide tastings of fine wines with Sweet and Savory Cupcakes – All to help support a worthy cause. Guests are invited to participate in this event on Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ticket holders can sample 5 wines and 5 cupcakes, which will be carefully paired to complement each other. Premium juices are available for those who prefer. The event will take place both in the tasting room and in the barrel room where wine production takes place. Doug Allen, the wine maker, along with guest pourers will be educating and entertaining visitors inside the barrel room while Lara Haase, a local harpist, provides background music for this wonderful event.
