Nature of Montezuma Lecture Series- Sport of Falconry
Learn the history of falconry, a sport that has stayed the same for the past 4,000 years at the Montezuma Audubon Center on Rt 89 in Savannah. On Saturday August 23rd from 1:00-2:00, you’ll meet Norma Jean Albright and her falcon, and they’ll teach you how this sport is still practiced today. Learn how falcons and falconers are hard at work all over the state for many different reasons. And you’ll be treated to a flight demonstration!
