Collect Holiday Toys for Military Children in Need-Operation Homefront NY/NJ |
This year's holiday season is about to be a little brighter, thanks to Operation Homefront's New York/New Jersey chapter. Beginning on Nov. 20, 2009, chapter volunteers, former NFL players and wounded warriors will be traveling the state in a large recreational vehicle, collecting toys for military children in need.

Peer Safety Patrol "
On Thursday The South Seneca Elementary School has a Safety Patrol Program that is designed to use patrol members as role models for younger children. They teach other students about safety on a peer-to-peer basis. The benefits of having a Safety Patrol Program range from leadership development and other aspects of personal growth, to developing a sense of volunteerism in service to others.
