Real Christmas Second Apple Pie Contest
The Real Christmas Committee for the second year is looking for the best apple pie in the Finger Lakes for this year’s 21st Real Christmas. Pies are to be brought to the Main Street School located on West Main Street between 3:30-4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, the day before the celebration. Judges will be Mike Cutillo from the Finger Lakes Times, Stephen Beals from and Rick Coe, funeral director with Coe-Genung Funeral Home. Dinner for two at Abigail’s Restaurant will be given to the baker of the winning pie along with a traveling trophy that now rests with Alice Davis from Geneva, who was the 2013 winner. It's A Wonderful Run 5K
Join us on a 5K Run/Walk through the beautiful, illuminated, historic Village of Seneca Falls, NY at dusk. A unique start to this USATF Certified 5K Course places the field atop the famous Bridge Street Bridge which many believe was the inspiration for the bridge scenes in the holiday movie classic 'It's A Wonderful Life'. The run/walk will take you past the decorated Christmas Tree display, the lighted storefronts and shops of downtown Seneca Falls, and past historic village homes decked out and lit-up for the holiday season. The course concludes in the shadow of the Bridge Street Bridge in People's Park along the Seneca Falls Canal Harbor. More information is available at

Seeking Christmas Choral Members
Waterloo…The 21st Real Christmas is looking for chorus members to sing familiar Christmas carols during the Live Nativity on December 6. Becky Reigel Baulch will direct the group, while Ruth Eades will accompany on the piano. There will be one rehearsal on December 5 with the Nativity on Dec. 6. Willard Calendars
The Romulus Historical Society is selling calendars for 2015. Each month has a building on the Willard Psychiatric Center as it looked when built and how it looked when the Center closed in 1995. The cost is $10. and can be purchased at the Romulus Municipal Building, Ovid Library and the Federal Credit Union on the grounds of the Willard Drug Treatment Center.
